Sydney Arbitration Week October 2025 and Business of IP HK December 2025 ushering in 2026!

December 4-5 saw the annual BIP Conference held in Hong Kong. Victory Group's team led by Ms Amy Wong, who has been exhibiting for over 7 years at BIP, forms an important hub in its Macao and Mainland Operations. As the GBA has been growing and expanding since 2016, Victory Group has continued to leverage its services and resources to serve its clients in this region.
Australia Arbitration Week 2025
Mr Chandra, International Director of Victory Group International, who is a qualified Australian Lawyer admitted in 2013 , attended this year’s International Arbitration Conference in his hometown of Sydney, Australia. The Conference demonstrated that despite economic and other pertinent global issues, arbitration continues to a forum that is consistently being turned to for the just and efficient resolution of disputes. It was fitting that the ACICA celebrates its 40th anniversary, arbitration in Australia and continues to grow in prominence and relevance in the international arbitration community.

The conference kicked off with the Keynote address by the honourable Andrew Bell Chief Justice of NSW, on the topic of Fabrication and Delegation: AI in International Arbitration. The welcome reception featured remarks by her excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, as well as His Honour Justice Stephen Gagler AC, Chief Justice of Australia.
Mr Chandra attended several sessions including The Internationlization of legal Finance - Lesson Australia can learn from recent development s in third party funding across the globe: USYD : Lindsay Francis and Mangan. The session was Moderated by Prof Chester Brown (Syd aw School) and Matt Lee with an illustrious panel include The Hon James Allsop AC, Sydney Arbitration Chambers ; Dr Can Eken , Durham University; Emma Colantonio, Litigation Lending Services : AALF
and Ms Emily Tillett, Burford Capital.

Mr Chandra also attended the session " Arbitration in a world retreating from the global hosted at Clifford Chance offices, featuring :

Other sessions attended included 'The internationalization of legal finance – Lessons Australia can learn from recent developments in third party funding across the globe ', Just admit it? Admissibility and Jurisdiction in international arbitration after CBI Constructors v Chevron at the offices of Norton Rose Fulbright, as well as the finale at the offices Corrs.
