Day 3- Victory Group leads delegation to The Macao International Trade & Investment Exhibition (MIF)

This is the final blog of a 3 part series where Victory Group recently led a delegation from Guangzhou, including the Intellectual Property Association of Guangzhou Development Zone , The Macao Intellectual Property Research Institute, as well entrepreneurs across various industries.

The theme of the sub-forum at the Macao International Trade & Investment Exhibition (MIF) was “Interaction and Win-Win : Sharing Innovation Value”.

Ms Amy Wong, President of Victory Group International also led the round table at the sub forum, with the invited leaders and guests comprising of :

• Deputy Secretary, Economic and Technological Development Bureau, Macao SAR Government, Chen Zihui;

• Executive Member of the Administrative Committee of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Bureau, Li Zao Sen;

• Director, Intellectual Property Office, Economic and Technological Development Bureau, Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Zheng Xiaomin;

The Deputy Director of Guangzhou Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Office) Mr Lan Wei ning also gave an address online.

The theme of the round table session was "Interaction and Win-win Sharing Innovation Value". Experts at the meeting focused on how to leverage Macao's unique advantages, link overseas and domestic resources, and discuss the development opportunities of scientific and technological innovation and intellectual property rights in Macao.

Signing of Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Intellectual Property

During the 27th Macau International Trade and Investment Exhibition, the Guangzhou Development Zone Intellectual Property Association and the Macao Innovation and Invention Association signed a strategic cooperation agreement on intellectual property.

The two sides mainly focus on establishing cooperation mechanisms in intellectual property rights, transformation of scientific and technological achievements and popularization of education, build a platform for docking intellectual property resources in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and jointly carry out international science and technology and intellectual property docking activities.

During this visit, many enterprises remarked that they had been exposed to many overseas unique market experiences and operating models, and learned a lot of new knowledge about intellectual property rights. They found this kind of experience, exposure and exchange such a valuable experience.

The event aimed to further strengthen the friendly exchanges and cooperation between Guangzhou and Macao, promote the establishment of cooperation mechanisms between the two sides in intellectual property rights, scientific and technological innovation and personnel training, achieve mutual benefit, coordinate development, and jointly promote the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
