Guangzhou-Macao IP forum successfully held at the 2022 MIF ,Venetian, Macao.

On the afternoon of October 22, 2022, The Intellectual Property Sub-Forum and the 23rd Peking University Bay Area Tour Salon was held at the 27th Macau International Trade and Investment Exhibition (Venetian Macao Resort.)

Ms. Amy Wong, President of Victory Group International, together with 7 representatives of the Victory Group team including, Mr Leo Liu, Mr Chandra and Mr Win participated in the event with the participating associations.

The event was jointly organized by the Intellectual Property Association of Guangzhou Development Zone and the Macao IP Research Association, and was hosted by Victory Group International.

The theme of the forum was “Strengthening the Co-operation and Sharing the Value of innovation between Guangzhou and Macao"

As the Chairwoman of the Macau Intellectual Property Research Association Ms. Amy Wong hosted a panel that brought dialogue together with the honorable guests, including:

• Mr Tao Xinliang, Honorary Dean of the Intellectual Property College of Shanghai University;

• Mr Wang Ye, Consultant of the China Office of WIPO (World intellectual Property Organization);

• Mr Wang Hu, Executive partner of Guangzhou Huaxuan Intellectual Property Services

• Mr He Jin Ming, Macau, Barrister;

• Mr Li Pei Qiang, President of the Macao Innovation and Invention Association, and;

• Mr Zeng Fan Chao, General Manager of Guangzhou Lushan New Materials.

The forum promoted Guangzhou-Macao exchanges and International Intellectual Property cooperation, with the help of Macao's unique value as an international platform, links to overseas and domestic resources, as well as Guangzhou-Macao scientific and technological innovation and intellectual property development opportunities.

The vision and strategy continues to grow and develop, to discuss, cooperate, build relevant relationships, seek common development, share business opportunities for businesses.

As part of the program, visits were arranged to the University of Macao and CE, the firm entrusted by the SAR Macao Government to supply, maintain and upgrade Macao's energy consumption needs, development and infrastructure.
