The Guangzhou warm-up reception for the annual INTA meeting successful held

The Guangzhou warm-up reception for the annual INTA meeting was successfully held in the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City. Nearly 80 industry authorities from Spain, India, Portugal and other countries as well as intellectual property service agencies from Zhangzhou, Shenzhen and Foshan attended the conference.

The 145th INTA Annual Meeting will be held in Singapore from 16-20 May 2023. Ms. Su Hong, Chief Representative of INTA China Representative Office, said that this is the first time INTA has held a warm-up reception in Guangzhou and conveyed her thanks to the relevant departments of Guangzhou Development Zone and associates from all walks of life in Guangdong for their continuous support for INTA. Mr Huang Weijian, Deputy Director of the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City Development and Construction Office, said that the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City is located in the geographic center of Guangzhou and is a national-level bilateral cooperation project between China and Singapore. It is also the only national-level international strategic cooperation platform in the Greater Bay Area. Mr Chen Guanghui, Deputy Director of the Intellectual Property Office of Guangzhou Development Zone, said in his speech that Guangzhou Development Zone is the only comprehensive reform pilot zone for the application and protection of intellectual property rights approved by the State Council in China and that in recent years, the Guangzhou Development Zone has continued to promote international exchanges and cooperation in intellectual property. It gathers high-end aspects of various types of intellectual property services at "home and abroad" , and creates a number of national reform platforms such as the 'first batch of special service export bases' in the field of intellectual property services, pilot areas for trade secret protection and innovation, and demonstration parks for the construction of intellectual property powers. He welcomed more high-quality intellectual property service institutions and talents to consider the development zone as the place to start businesses and promote regional development in the future.
